These moderately easy arrangements and can be utilised as desired by the performer. Repeats are optional, they can be omitted or used more than once depending on the number of verses there are for each carol. The octave at which they are played is also flexible, as they have a 'music box' style when played at a higher octave range. Performers can experiment and choose as desired.
Pedalling harmonically enhances the textures, and whilst there are some suggested pedal markings inserted into the score, performer discretion is required. Fingerings are also only suggestions. To avoid large stretches, LH octaves have been marked as optional to facilitate smaller hands, and the make the technical demands more accessible.
